This was my second trip to Akumal. I was shooting for my paysite - The Glamour Portfolios. We had great weather, a beautiful location, and wonderful models. To find my models I posted messages in various modeling forums, primarily GlamourModels.Com. Response was overwhelming, with over 100 models asking to be included on the trip. Narrowing it down to just five was not easy. I selected Crissy M, Jacy Andrews, Katie Jordan, Mia Tyler and Rochelle West.
Our trip started in Indianapolis and from the moment the models met I sensed great chemistry between them. They enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi together, telling stories and trying on lingerie and swimsuits they had packed for the trip. After arriving in Cancun we we drove south to Akumal, which is approximately 60 miles away.
I had rented a large 4,500 square foot house complete with it's own pool, beach and lagoon. So we had plenty of privacy and access to nice locations, without even having to leave the property. The girls felt right at home, and soon after we arrived they slipped into their birthday suits and started tanning au natural by the pool and beach. |

During my trips, each model is expected to work about 3-4 hours a day, and the rest of the day is theirs to enjoy. On a typical day wed have breakfast around 9am, although those who wanted to sleep late could. Then we would start shooting the first group from 11am - 2pm. The next group would work from 2pm - 5pm. So while shooting one group, the other group just relaxed, usually by the pool or lagoon or just slept in their rooms.
We stayed at the house the first two days and I photographed the models in various locations. On some days, we traveled about a half-hour south to a larger beach and had a little picnic before shooting. At the beach there were some nice wooden huts and tables which made great backgrounds. There really isn't much nightlife in Akumal (which is one of the reasons I like shooting there) so on Monday and Thursday nights we drove up to Playa del Carmen for a little dancing. Our usual hangout there is Senior Frogs. We always have a great time, and get to sleep just a little later the next morning.
